Mr. Barrie earned a certificate in Electrical and Electronics from the University of Eastern Polytechnic. He also obtained a Higher National Diploma in the same field at the same university. Additionally, he pursued studies in Logistics and Transport Management at a college specializing in Travel and Tourism, where he received a Diploma in Computer Studies. His professional experience includes roles as an Assistant Logistic Fleet Officer, Archivist and Librarian at OBT Shipping Limited, and Instrumentation Administrative Assistant at Sierra Rutile. In April 2020, he was appointed as Assistant Liaison/Logistic Officer at the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute, where he has been working under the supervision of the Acting Logistics Officer since that time.
