Rebecca Bockarie

Rebecca Bockarie studied for a Certificate in Managing Sustainable Forest Landscapes at the School of Forestry, University of Helsinki. She holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Njala University in Sierra Leone. With 12 years of experience in international and national research and development, she is seeking a challenging role in the development sector.

Rebecca has worked as a scientist on various projects, including the Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (AVDP), the Building Bio-carbon and Rural Development in West Africa project (BIODEV) implemented by the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), the Boosting Agriculture and Food Security (BAFS) project, and the Small Holders Commercialization and Agribusiness Development Project (SCADeP). She has played a significant role in leading research efforts, including Social Impact Assessments (SIA), the identification of livelihood options, the introduction of alternative livelihood opportunities, and the identification of risks, along with the development of risk mitigation measures.
