Dr Kemoh Bangura graduated from Njala University in February 2009 with BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in November 2015 with an MPHIL in Agricultural Machinery Engineering from the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, and South China Agricultural University in 2022 a Ph.D. in Agricultural Mechanization, From February 2009 to now, he has worked in various academic and research institutions. He is currently a Research Officer at the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute (SLARI) and an Associate Lecturer at Njala University. He has presided over various scientific research projects such as the Chinese Earmarked Fund for Modern Agro-industry Technology Research System project, the AfricaRice Mechanization Task Force Project, the West Africa Agricultural Productivity program, the SMART IV AfricaRice/JICA Project, Sierra Leone Agribusiness and Rice Value Chain Project and University of New South Wales, Australia project on strengthening rural livelihood through identifying postharvest training needs. Currently the head of Engineering, Postharvest and Food Technology unit, Rokupr Agricultural research Center (RARC). Published more than 20 research papers.
