Mr. Bah earned his M.Sc. degree in Development and Management from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) and his B.Sc. degree in Applied Accounting from the same university. He obtained his Higher Teacher’s Certificate (HTC) from Milton Margai College of Education and Technology, now a university.
Mr. Bah has extensive experience in Accounting and Finance, having served for several years as a unit head in the Finance Department. As a holder of the Higher Teacher Certificate, he also worked as a senior teacher at the Annie Walsh Memorial School in Freetown. While pursuing his B.Sc. degree, he worked as an Accounts Clerk at Rural Aid – Sierra Leone, a local NGO.
After completing his B.Sc. degree from IPAM, Mr. Bah served as an Administrative Manager at A Yazbeck & Sons Ltd. In August 2009, he joined SLARI as an Assistant Finance Officer, stationed at the Kenema Forestry and Tree Crop Research Centre (KFTCRC). In 2012, he acted as Finance Officer at Headquarters and became the Finance Officer in 2013, leading the unit.
To prepare for his responsibilities as head of the unit, he has received training in various accounting software packages. Mr. Bah has worked collaboratively with his team to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.
