Mr. John Nathaniel Sahr Boima is an Extension Assistant at the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute, specifically at the Teko Livestock Research Centre, within the Extension Unit. He specializes in agronomy and has contributed to the development and implementation of projects such as the Smallholder Commercialization and Agri-business Project (SCADeP) and the Boosting Agriculture and Food Security (BAFS) project, both aimed at enhancing livestock productivity in Sierra Leone.
He obtained a Higher Diploma in General Agriculture from Njala University in 2015 and is currently in his qualifying year for a Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture at the same institution. Before joining the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute (SLARI) at the Teko Livestock Research Centre (TLRC), he worked for 10 years with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF). In his role, he has also served as an outreach officer, connecting farmers with the research centre.
