Mr. Akiwande Boyle-Renner holds a BSc. Hons in Animal Science from the Njala University, and a Masters degree in Agriculture from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria. Since gaining employment in 2013 at the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute and attached to the Teko Livestock Research Centre, he has been involved in the implementation of several projects (EU-BAFS and SCADeP) and participated in a livestock systems and forage resource survey in 2019 in some selected districts in the country. He has also contributed to the development of the Livestock Quality Standards Guide as a team member. He is an animal production specialist and works with large and small ruminants. He is also a trained artificial inseminator (AI) through the IAEA 2022 program.
