Rugiatu S. Conteh
Mrs. R.S. Conteh has a B.Sc. Degree in Home Economics at the Njala University, Sierra Leone. She also holds a M.Sc. Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Njala University, Sierra Leone. She has been with the Sierra Leone Agricultural Institute (SLARI for more than two decades. She is currently stationed at the Rokupr Agricultural Research Centre (RARC) wherein she serves in various research activities which includes:-
- Palatability investigation of Roks and Nericas rice varieties that has been developed at rice research station since those days of WARDA.
- Developing rice, maize and sorghum for farmers’ acceptability across the country.
- Conducting training for farmers on these based products; rice maize and sorghum.
She is passionate about showcasing variety of products which includes; rice, sorghum and maize to community stakeholders and community farmers during world food day celebration.
