Mohamed Sow
Post-Harvest Technologist
Mohamed Sow holds a BSc (Honors) Crop Protection and an MSc in Processing and Storage of Agricultural Products Engineering from Njala University College (USL) and China Agricultural University, P.R. China Respectively. Mr. Sow has shown interest in rice grain quality and rice value addition. Since his employment at RARC of SLARI, he has undertaken projects in Postharvest losses of rice in all ecologies (Upland, Mangrove, Boliland, and Riverine) of Sierra Leone in collaboration with other colleagues. Additionally, Mr. Sow has conducted studies on Sensory Evaluation of 50 Rice Varieties in Sierra Leone.
