Mr. Ahmed Nyuma Jusu is an Extension Assistant at the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute, specifically at the Teko Livestock Research Centre within the Extension Unit. He specializes in agronomy and has been involved in the development and implementation of projects such as the Small Holder Commercialization and Agri-business Project (SCADeP) and the Boosting Agriculture and Food Security (BAFS) project, both aimed at enhancing livestock productivity in Sierra Leone.

Mr. Jusu holds a Higher Diploma in Agronomy from Njala University, which he earned in 2015, and he recently obtained a Bachelor’s degree with Honors (B.Sc) in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology from Njala University in 2024.

He worked for the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) for 10 years before joining the Sierra Leone Agricultural Research Institute (SLARI) at the Teko Livestock Research Centre in 2021. In his role, he serves as the Outreach Officer, acting as a liaison between farmers and the research center. Currently, he is the Acting Farm Manager at the Teko Livestock Research Centre.
